The Papillon is a friendly, intelligent dog, steady and silent. It is a lively, vivacious and charming, gentle and affectionate dog. It is playful and amusing but can also be calm, patient and dignified. This breed loves to be cuddled but also likes to romp outdoors.
They are obedient and are not yappers. As they are very smart and eager to learn, they can be trained to perform small tricks. They can also be difficult to housebreak, but are in general easy to train otherwise. Papillons do best with older, considerate children. They are good with cats when they are raised with them from puppyhood.
If you are looking for a tiny, social butterfly type of a dog, who thrives on human attention and is safe with older children, do consider the Papillon as a possible option.

Our own veterinarian examines every puppy carefully before departure to make sure he or she is healthy and has no genetic or congenital disorders. Among others we check:
In addition, the official, on duty veterinarian at the airport checks each dog to make sure it is healthy and fit to travel. This is how all of our puppies are double checked before they travel.
